The story was quite interesting but not involved enough for so many pages, I felt the story could have been told in a book half the size. I was a little disappointed in this - I would have called it a mixture of mystery & romance, with a bit of horror thrown in - but I didn't feel it merited the description of "the perfect ghost story". It was still a good read - though I did guess the link between the main characters before it was revealed, but maybe that's because I've read to many books of this type that I know the format! - so I would recommend it, as long as the reader isn't expecting a good old-fashioned ghost story.
