The instructions only showed a diagram. I would not screw this into a plastic shed, since it is plenty stable without screwing it to the wall. It fits plenty of yard tools for its size. The center holes that aren't "lean in" which need the tool lifted up and threaded into. They are unused for me as I have this under a deck. I imagine it'd be the same in a garage with a low roof, not a problem with the item per se, but something to know if you are considering getting this. As for size and stability I was worried it'd be too small but it's just the right size I've got full size rakes/shovels, holds them all just fine. I feel like I got my monies worth.
