Constructed from a tubular aluminium framework with a dark green, powder coated finish which gives a very smart, painted look which is not only extremely durable but also greatly enhances the overall appearance. Black U/V stabilised nylon joints are used to connect the framework, producing a Fruit Cage that will last for years ## Features - 7ft (213cm) corner legs - rot proof ¾" (19mm) diameter aluminium tubing which has a strong 1mm thick wall. Each has a black ground spike at one end & a 3-way 90-degree joint at the top to form the corner of the cage - 6ft (183cm) horizontals - the same specification as the legs, used to form the horizontals at the top of the cage. It is important to ensure that the cage is reasonably square corner to corner but that said went together fine all the plastic connectors fitted well and made the cage secure. The netting supplied is top quality and strong. I didn't like the ties that were supplied too much and instead used a bag of black cable ties (Screwfix) I already had. Found them much easier to use. Ground pegs OK but a little flimsy if you get carried away with a hammer. You do need to assemble, if you buy it as an extra, the door into the frame before you complete the construction and add the netting. It means taking a section apart if you don't. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight but stronger than it looks. *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2018* This thing works but is a little flimsy and footery to put up.. I held back on this review to see how it did over winter and can report it survived but snow builds up on the roof netting very quickly and can strain the cage.
