The Dual FPC Hat gave me a way to insert a PCIe switch into the path and let the OS (Ubuntu) take over from there. I added another PCIe hat with a WiFi7 Intel chip and was able to use lspci -v to verify everything was working as anticipated. I'm waiting for a 2 slot NVMe hat to arrive in a few days to complete the build. GeekPi is one of my goto sites and they have not let me down so far.
