My only real complaint is the strong smell. I believe it is the rubber part of the filter...Smells almost like gasoline. It doesn’t linger long in the air after use but I would prefer it not have the smell. I’ve used it dozens of times and it still has a smell. I believe the original one that came with the vacuum was a harder (less rubbery/flexible) plastic so that may be why it did not have the same smell.
