Review: Removal skate - This is so handy! I’ve been decorating and moving wardrobes and units about using this removal skate has massively helped and made it a lot easier! It’s very sturdy and the wheels glides over my carpet really well which I was surprised about! Can be used to move lots of different things as it is rectangular so spreads the weight out really well. All in all very happy and great value for money!

It's well made; the wheels are a good size - about 3" clearance to the floor - and they move easily over different types of floor surfaces. The handle spaces are well-positioned. The only thing I would add would be some brakes or wheel locks, but it's not a major issue and doesn't take away from the quality of the product. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: could this be used outside to move outside tubs across paving**
A: Sorry, the truth is that I don’t know. It moves around my home really smoothly and easily with quite a heavy dehumidifier on it which is too heavy for me to lift on and off so it stays on it,  but I don’t know whether the casters would get damaged on rough paving. However, it’s certainly a solid piece of kit and something I’m going to purchase again for moving garden pots if I can’t find one that specifically states it’s for outdoor use.

**Q: Is assembley required?**
A: No - comes ready to go - great for moving house with!

**Q: Can it take a washing machine?**
A: Dolly is 1 foot by 1.5 feet (30cm X 45cm) and claims to hold 180 Kg. If you are manoeuvring a washing machine with help over a short distance, it would probably be OK. As it does not have locking wheels, I would probably not use it for this purpose.

**Q: Hight in inches please**
A: Just measured it on a surface table.  Height to the top of the plywood is 104 MM (4 3/32 in).  Add another 1/16" where the round rubber pads are, but they're quite soft, and would most likely squash flat under significant weight.

This is so handy! I’ve been decorating and moving wardrobes and units about using this removal skate has massively helped and made it a lot easier! I bought this dolly to hold a new tumble dryer and it does exactly what I wanted. It's well made; the wheels are a good size - about 3" clearance to the floor - and they move easily over different types of floor surfaces. The handle spaces are well-positioned. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful bit of kit

Had I thoroughly read the other reviews I would not have got this item and, after purchasing I did have buyers remorse and tried to cancel but, it was on the way so either reject it or return it. For the price I thought I'd just suck it and besides I needed it urgently to clear my lounge for new flooring. It arrived and box was small (as other posters note, look at the dimensions) but, having now used it to move a solid wood 6 foot tall bookcase, sideboard and a coffee table (with no assistance) I have to say it does the job just fine. Wheels on carpet ok, on wood floor, its perfect. Good width allows to balance my furniture and its sturdy - it goes where I push it, no wandering wheels. Overall very happy, bought for 1 task but, it is serving that task very well and great value for money at that. I am sure the more expensive dollies are better but, I have no complaints now I have used my purchase and would recommend especially if you have a one off job like I did.
