Review: Simply doesn't work - item returned. - Very curious results in the beginning which we thought were showing us that our pots were overwatered - following this we did not water the pots for many days. However, after getting many "wet" results from pots we checked the soil and it was it was dry. Not only this but borders that were soaked by us we checked them half an hour later and they showed as completely dry - not even moist. I live in the UAE and I suspect that either this device is defective or it's not working properly in such warm environment.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the 0-10 tallies correlate to percentage?  So is 2 equal to 20% moisture?**
A: 2 is equal to 2% moisture

**Q: If my plant falls under the 0-3 red category, does that mean I only water it when the meter indicates that’s where the soil is at?**
A: Yes you want to keep your plant in the Red Zone, if you’re are getting passed the Red Zone (4-10) you are over watering. You don’t want to pass up 3 and don’t add water again until you reach 1

**Q: Has anyone found this guide off?  some of the plants listed for the high moisture range are ones that all other guides say should be low?**
A: I didn’t use the “guide”.  My only reason for buying the item was to test the moisture in the soil.  As far as the moisture differences in what this or that plant requires, I just Google it and research a little.

**Q: I'm not sure i understand the guide on the back of the box for each plant.  is it suggesting what the moisture should be for each plant? please elabor**
A: As long as the needle on the tester goes up half way at least, then there is plenty of moisture. There is no set number for how much moister each type of plant needs. I have used one for at least 10 yrs and it has always kept things just right, as well as telling me when I need to water.
