Will it be ugly?** A: Not at all, the steel plates are very flat and clean. Each piece is wrapped individually and nicely packed together to protect during shipping. **Q: is this annealed or not?** A: The 1095 high carbon steel works up good similar to the US rolled 1095. I have made three knives so far and enjoy working with it. It is thinner than the 1/8” inch I worked with before. Mine is not annealed. The steel is workable **Q: are these 0.12 or 0.125"?** A: They are just under 1/8" thickness.
