The installation was uneventful, as it should be, and the software seems to be running error free. I easily disabled several of the Bluetooth profiles that I don't use and paired up my mouse, keyboard, speakers, phone, and tablet in no time.On the Linux side I was setting up a Sony laptop that isn't too old, but for some reason does not have a built in Bluetooth adapter. The adapter sticks out just a little bit more than I'd like as the USB port is a little too shallow to allow the semi-circle to sit flush with the side of the laptop. But seeing that this laptop will be used as a desktop with an integrated UPS rather than being toted around, it should be a concern in this case. There really isn't too much to say about the install. Linux Mint 16 is installed on the laptop and within about a second of plugging in the adapter, the little Bluetooth icon appeared in the notification area. A couple seconds after that I had the mouse paired up and running.Can't really beat the price, the size and shape are nice, from what I can see all of the latest profiles are supported (at least in the hardware, your OS may or may not). After a reboot on the next day, new drivers from the company loaded replacing the Microsoft drivers and the device would not start. Three of the drivers failed to properly load. I tried on another computer only to experience exactly the same problem. I have two Windows 7 64bit machines and even after trying to purge my machine of the software, the plug never again started.
