The faux leather is very thin and is flaking off on the back in an area where its rubbed against my wall a few times as well. I feel like it's a over-priced for how long it's going to last. EDIT: After having the stool for 2 months, it has already broken and the seat no longer stays on straight. Part of it is plastic that attaches the seat to the center pole and it has cracked rendering unable to stay on straight. What a waste of money! Review: Chair is super comfortable unfortunately it is broken it is possible that I will just re-order another one. This is for my father, who is a musician, and he will not be able to work the lever ,that adjusts the seat. The tear in the box was literally where the lever was positioned. Cannot work the lever or disassemble the chair to send back in original box.
