I think the chrome edition is simply a different color scheme. It originally came out with an updated firmware version that added some cool stuff. But you can update the non-chrome edition to the same firmware. **Q: Does this work on pc because I asked Full Compass and they said no bu I checked manufacturer site and they said yes?** A: Hello Yes You can connect the QU consoles to a PC or Mac to stream 24 channels of audio to a DAW. The QU consoles will also work as a controller for said DAW. However, there is no application for PC or mac to Control the QU console. I run a world class studio mic through a Grace 101 and patched into this mixer. The sound was flat as d in dead sounding. Push a little on a vocal track and your vocal gets shoved into the mix.
