This compact freestanding drawing board is fitted with a precision counterweight parallel motion for the ultimate in accuracy and balance containing ball race bearings which ensure a smooth running friction free operation. If you are a professional seeking precision, quality, versatility and great value then the Compactable Stratford A1 Drawing Board is for you.   The reversible aluminium straight edge is easily aligned and runs the full width of the drawing board. It features a precision machined 15mm transparent acrylic blade for drawing and a metal edge for cutting. The bottom of the straight edge is rebated which allows ink pens to be used without smudging.   This versatile freestanding drawing board is easily adjustable to achieve the optimum height and angle for the most comfortable working positions. It is mounted on a compact powder coated tubular stand which folds flat for easy storage and comes with the standard reliability package of all our products including a quality plastic edging for style and durability and full covers for the counterweight ball race bearings giving that much needed extra protection from dust and dirt to maintain optimum performance.   All of our large commercial boards are made with 22mm thick high density MFC which is manufactured under extreme pressure and designed to maintain flatness over many years of use. The unique Swiss engineered environmentally friendly board is designed by Kronospan and coated with microfused melamine creating an incredibly hard work surface.
