I’ve already reordered it twice because it’s just THAT good.First off… this recipe is stupid easy. Like under 5 minutes to mix together easy. You’ll need:* 1/4 cup butter (+ 2 tbsp for the crumble topping)* 1/3 cup milk* 2 eggsI used “melted brand” vegan butter + “MALK brand”coconut milk with regular eggs and it turned out insanely moist. Seriously… the vegan substitutes made absolutely zero difference in texture or flavor. If you’re swapping the eggs too, I’d definitely recommend a solid egg replacer over applesauce.Now my BIGGEST tip: this cake is HARD to overbake, but pull it out the SECOND the center stops jiggling and a toothpick comes out clean. Don’t wait any longer. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes too, otherwise it won’t fully set up correctly.Mine baked in about 25–30 minutes at 350° in a convection oven using a greased + lined 8-inch round cake pan.
