No problem, I just use the remote to turn them off.I used them the next night but when I tried to charge them up the following day, the remote doesn't have any charge left. I can charge the lights, but when I remove the charger from the port, I cannot turn the lights off because the remote is non-functional.The manufacturers did not provide a way to charge the battery on the remote, so the lights are just on permanently and you charge them every once in awhile and there is no way to change the pattern of light because I don't have a functional remote.
