All music has its roots and I've only just discovered mine with this brilliant and timeless gem , I can see so many of the late 70's punk bands and the subsequent wave of Sonic Youth , Big Black and even Britpop where the Seeds influence really reaped it's legacy .

It's difficult to flag up key songs on this album, as they're all strong; if you like one of these two-minute two chord punk classics, you'll like 'em all. Pushin' Too Hard, Can't Seem To Make You Mine, they just keep coming... My fave is Fallin' in Love, with a fab electric piano solo; one to be proud of.Whilst garage bands were ten-a-penny in the mid 60s, somehow the Seeds found a sound that they made their own.  It's partly Sky Saxon's snotty vocals, walls of fuzztone guitar and fabulous tinkly electric piano, but it's also the songs' structures and repetitive trancey riffs.Play Loud!
