The hair dryer is reasonably lightweight and has a nice, metallic matte blue finish which is smooth to the touch and quite grippy. There are four buttons on its handle which is the on and off button, temperature select, blower force, and a cool air button. The power button is a slide switch, so you don’t accidentally turn it off while using the hair dryer. All the rest are momentary buttons which are easy to find when not looking at it. The first thing that struck me when I first turned this on was the power with the force of the air coming out of it. It had defaulted to maximum air flow and maximum heat and the air was just blasting out. The force is quite powerful and really moves my hair about which helps to dry my hair more quickly. There are three heat settings, and I found the highest one to be really hot, so I usually use it on the second setting as it’s still hot, but a lot more comfortable. There are three air flow speeds, and it doesn’t sound like a traditional hair dryer as it’s more of a jet engine type sound which isn’t too loud. There is a cooling button which keeps the air flow going but cuts the heat and gives a cool breeze. As soon as you release the colling button, the heat cuts in again immediately. This is a brilliant hair dryer which has a nice, sleek design, and really packs a punch with its air flow on maximum. Of course, lowering the air flow speed reduces the power for a more calming flow but it has the power if needed.
