    Poor quality

The Velcro was so strong that it tore the cardboard when I opened it according to the instructions. I asked Vufine for a new one 6 days ago on Amazon and totally no feedback at all!

For experimentation purposes is good, but beyond that the cardboard is very thin.

First I'll mention, this does not use the camera on the phone, it uses mirrors to simulate the AR effect. This is a piece of a tougher cardboard that's mostly assembled, just a couple folds is needed. It's pretty difficult how to fold together at first. Despite one of the mirrors inside being scratched, it didn't affect the illusion, I'm able to see the hologram clearly. Basically whatever you see on the phone will display the screen like a hologram, but it doesn't work with other AR apps that I can see because most AR apps work with the Google cardboard with the camera videoing the outside view. I can't find any apps that really demo along with this, but it's still cool because you can see exactly what AR looks like. I've tested the Microsoft Hololens before, and the brightness of the phone used and the lighting in the room is important. If you look directly in the light, the hologram disappears, more so with this then the Hololens.I paid $10 for it, you can buy on on the Vulfine site as well, I had a pop up for coupon when I visited the site after I purchased it on Amazon. After I folded the kit up, I placed my Samsung Galaxy S9 in where the phone goes. I'm not entirely sure how much of the phone is suppose to be inside, but mine sits right on top of the frame, it's big enough. When looking through the kit, while hold at a certain angle, I can see whatever is on my phone screen floating around. I'm not entirely sure if it's at the right distance, I have to adjust my eyes somewhat, some things I tried putting on the screen ended up being blurry when I'm focused on what's in front of me rather than what's on the hologram. Of course that's because I wasn't using an app that supports this setup I suppose. The Velcro ended up falling off and some pieces of the cardboard are bent, but it worked as intended. It needs a head strap and apps.
