The only downfall is that the hands are made from a soft metal—aluminum I believe—and can easily bend where you don’t want it to bend. Ask me how I know?! But for the price of replacing the hands I felt it best to buy the whole kit. Another problem I’ve encountered (twice) through the years is ordering the correct size clock. When they arrived in a 6” box I knew it wasn’t the correct one. And when they arrived in the 12”box I knew I got the one I wanted. They all look the same size on the internet and I’m not sure if it’s the wording in the description that trips me up or what. I just return it and reorder another one. The included directions are very thorough and they provide the tools you need to get the numbers level and spaced evenly around the hands.
