## Description

The speed groover does the same job as the p groover. Making a u shaped groove between two sheets of vinyl ready for the weld. It also takes the same u blades. The main difference is the speed you can change the blade. With the speed groover having a wing nut to release the blade, instead of a traditional screw securing blade. You can change the blade in minimum time without a screwdriver while doing the job efficiently. It has a comfortable blue moulded handle. Length: 180mm

A: It comes with ten spare blades along with one fitted, great little tool, much easier to use than conventional hand grooving tools.

A: Yes it does quick and easy to change

**Q: Would the blades be sharp enough to cut 2mm pvc plastic sheets?**
A: I assume that you are grooving out marine board then welding up? I would think so? But even the relatively low cost of a pack of blades it’s worth a punt.

For years I've struggled with nut and screw style p groovers that easily chew and the seatings wear making the blade wobble and slacken until they are no longer any use. This design makes all of these issues a thing of the past. Well pleased with mine and a great price too.

This tool is used to groove out safety flooring prior to welding the joint to make a waterproof floor covering.How little time is taken to change a blade and the simplicity of the design. However, for what it is I think it’s quite extensive?
