This is such a great value for the price. It’s thick enough and quite durable for my quilting needs. I can cut to size and it’s soft to touch. It’s not rough feeling. Review: Great buy for your money - Love this Hobs batting. I buy it once every 6-8 months as I'm an avid quilter and use it often. I'm looking for 1/8" roll of batting.** A: Kathy, Hobbs 80/20 cotton poly blend is approx. 1/8" thick. **Q: How does it compare to Warm and natural? Does it have more loft?** A: It is very similar in color. It does have a little more loft. **Q: What are the dimensions of the package? Is it possible to carry it as check in luggage in flight?** A: This batting roll is folded on a core tube. The dimensions are approx 48" x 18" diameter. **Q: Do you have to pre wash this?** A: No. The 20% poly in this batting keeps it from shrinking as much as 100% Cotton batting. Actually, I like the look of a quilt after it is washed because the batting shrinks just a bit and emphasizes the quilting. If you are tying the quilt, you might want to wash it, but only in water and only in a bath tub and only dried flat. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Length and Width of Batting makes a difference *by J***2 on November 2, 2024* I was tired of buying batting.
