If its an un-natural color (like blue, green, etc.) id use this. If its something not un-natural like black id use Color Opps. Color opps is a lot less damaging to your hair... Fair warning though no matte what you use (this or color opps) your hair is going to come out a orangish or yellowish color. You will have to bleach or redye it later if you don't want that. **Q: I'm trying to let my color grow out to the natural gray I do not to re-color it. Is this possible** A: If you use this it will turn your natural to an ashy blonde. Its best to just let it grow out on its own and trim your hair regularly to help the growth process. Don't use this if you don't want your natural to change color. **Q: Does this take out bleach from hair?** A: No- it is bleach pretty much. It takes all color out of hair and you usually have to do it a couple of times then put a toner on top. **Q: Does this work on dyed hair that has been dyed more than once (3 different colors in the past 2 years)??** A: It can, but it barely lifts color. I don't recommend getting it, especially if your hair is stubborn with getting color out or slightly damaged.
