Serrated knives don't often need sharpening since it is their teeth (not their blade) that do the work, but if you do need to sharpen one, you must use a honing blade and sharpen each indentation individually. **Q: Will it sharpen pocket/folding knives?** A: Yes. I sharpened my kitchen knives as well as a few "old timer" pocket knives. Can't go wrong for the price of sharpener **Q: Easy to use and clean?** A: Easy to use, yes.
