For those with pets (especially cats), if kitty turns th faucet on to get you up and out of bed just cuz greedy Kitty is hungry, get a pool noodle. Cut a piece of the pool noodle long enough to cover the electric sensor, then cut a slit along that piece lengthwise. Turn the faucet on with your hand (using the sensor) then slip the piece of noodle over the sensor for the night and Kitty's access to it has been severed! Ha!!! You can also use a piece of tape--just be sure it's not clear tape or the sensor may still pick up movement. Even then, the faucet has a built-in shut off after about three or four minutes. I couldn't find it in the papers that came with it, but it shut off the every time (about 4 or 5) after three minutes. (It's just that it's annoying to be woken up by a cat and a faucet.) When you install it, just read alll the directions FIRST. Assemble slowly--don't rush it, and you will be sooo proud of yourself! But with a llifetime guarantee and a very nice working faucet, it's definitley wrth every penny! Review: impossible to register for warranty with company - Faucet is nice but impossible to register warranty with company. This invalidates any nice things I would say about the faucet itself, which seems a pretty counter-productive policy for the company to be using. It's an expensive item and a warranty would be nice.
