I have a number of these knives and they are a great size, well made and durable, a good balance and light weight. Open and close smoothly and are good feel in the hand. I work in the garage, in the barn, in the base and was always needing a knife for something that would be in the other area. Instead, I bought a few more of these cost effective ones and I have one in each area on a magnet - so there is always one right where I need it. I also have another to clip on my pants when I go out into the woods. Great versatile knife. Review: Excellent Value - Great knife! Really sharp, comfortable grip, compact size, and smooth one handed opening. It's easy to carry and handles everyday tasks with no issues. Excellent value for the price. ## Features - DIMENSIONS: 7.1 Inch (18 Cm) Overall Length With A Blade Length Of 3.1 Inches (7.9 Cm) And A Weight Of 3.5 Ounces - DURABLE: Blade Is Made Of Reliable 7Cr17Mov Black Oxide High Carbon Stainless Steel With A Black, Aluminum Handle - DEPENDABLE: Quick And Easy Access With The Convenient Pocket Clip, Finger Flipper And Ambidextrous Thumb Knobs Making It Ideal For Everyday Carry - SECURE: Have Confidence That The Blade Will Not Slip With The Security Of The Liner Lock - BE PREPARED: Knife Features Jimping And Serrations - GUARANTEED: This product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Try to use a moisturizing soap, deer have really dry skin. Finish with a spritz of Old Spice Denali body spray. **Q: I bought this knife and opened it fine. Now I can't close it! Can someone please help?** A: Inside the knife there is a piece/bar that looks serrated and like it can be pulled out. Push that to the left and close the knife. Once you do it one time you can see how it moves and it’s super easy! **Q: What is the handle made of?** A: the handle is actually metal... its a real sturdy knife to me. **Q: Was this blade made in china?** A: Yes it is made in china at this price point it is a good knife that won’t upset you if you loose it ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great and sharp *by V***Y on September 13, 2026* Great little knife, very sharp. Really sharp, comfortable grip, compact size, and smooth one handed opening. It's easy to carry and handles everyday tasks with no issues. Excellent value for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely GREAT knife for the price! *by D***N on December 2, 2023* Okay so I've had this blade for about 3+ years now. I bought it somewhere else but I found it here new so I thought it appropriate to give my thoughts on it after some wearing on it and experience. Right now this knife is discounted and available for 12.99 which is GREAT! For the price you're getting a Smith and Wesson quality bang for your buck so you don't have to commit 300.00 for the just about the same quality youd get somewhere else. So that alone should entice you to give it a shot. As far personal wear and tear... It still holds strong after years of pretty much daily use. I've used this for everything because I don't believe in safety blades lol Now it's got some scuffing, it's got a tiny chip (please refer to the images above) but honestly I've gone out of my way to attempt to puncture everything from aluminum, and even sheet metal to see how it holds up and I gotta say... With the right angle and technique and the right amount of force, you could punch right through bare metal and the blade will hold up. It's still sharp and strong. I've sharpened this blade on my own to low effect, unfortunately this blade requires the hands of a professional and someone who knows what they're doing to keep the point and sharpness on this blade. So I don't recommend sharpening this on your own without the right equipment. The point or tip of the blade is decent. Only slightly worn down since purchase so I wouldn't worry to much about dulling it from regular use. I have a bad habit of playing with my personal blades so truth be told, I've probably gummed up the folding and unfolding hinge a bit. Its not as smooth as it was before but I think if you lube it up with some degreaser it'll be like new. I don't think the mechanism can be worned down until it doesn't lock anymore. I've probably opened and closed this blade well over 3000 times now and it still locks perfectly, just difficult to open with the flare and swish of the hand which is what I do to open it. The handle is still in great shape as it's made to last. It's held its shape and has ZERO damage. It forms to my hand perfectly and the ergonomic shape fits exactly to my hand. Though I have somewhat of "musicians hands" my hand shape is defined so it might be cumbersome or uncomfortable for older gentleman with stronger and thicker labor man's hands. Besides everything, this is a more than decent blade that'll last you a good 5+ years at LEAST and won't break the wallet. The blade shape is awesome as well with a clip shape so that's a plus, great for penetration and slashing all the same. I've taken this blade just about everywhere and it's held up this long. I've lost it frozen in the snow, taken it underwater, left it in the hot sun, dropped it from a 4 story building etc and everything and it's still my daily routine to clip it on my work belt because it's held up this long. This blade is perfect for a gift and first time utility tactical folding knife that's LEGAL and easy to carry and use. I'm no expert, but I thoroughly recommend it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Folding Knife - Legal Pocket Knife with 2.95” Serrated Blade, Glass Breaker, Seat Belt Cutter - EDC Sharp Folding Knives with Portable Clip - Small Tool for Tactical Camping Survival Hiking - Gifts for Men 6680 - SABRE Pepper Spray, Quick Release Keychain for Easy Carry and Fast Access, Finger Grip for More Accurate and Faster Aim, Maximum Police Strength OC Spray, 0.54 fl oz, Secure and Easy to Use Safety --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/6415212-smith-and-wesson-accessories-extreme-ops-swa24s-7-1in-s](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/6415212-smith-and-wesson-accessories-extreme-ops-swa24s-7-1in-s) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
