You will need 3 AAA batteries to power the controller which is not included in the box, it only provides the battery for the drone only. I think it’s a good choice for drone beginners like me. The setup is straightforward, and the controls are responsive. Drone is fun and easy to fly but don't expect to be able to get good quality out of the camera. The camera can not be moved with the remote so wherever it's pointing is where it stays while flying.
