Access to the filter on this car is not at all difficult. The filter itself seems to be well made, and it slipped into place without damage to the filter. I mention this because I have had experience where the filter was supposed to fit only to find it had to be forced into place which collapsed the media. Not good. There are no instructions included, but if you study the way the last one went in, you can discover which is the top and bottom. That worked for me, so it was no problem getting it in.
