This has got nothing to do with regular Rit *by L***L on April 10, 2021* At some point I'll figure out how to download the picture of my daughter's nylon/acetate blend acid yellow sundress. She loved the dress, but who looks good in acid yellow? I bought the pound of black dye, our favorite clothing color, and it works stunningly. We used the pot over a flame (outside) and there's very little of the spotty effect one gets using regular rit. I mean, who's got a pot big enough to fit over an open flame and have enough room to have a pair of jeans not crowded in the pot? It makes much less difference with this dye. We dyed approximately a dozen items and only one pair of 100% cotton high quality tan shorts didn't pick up the color well. That may have been due to not replenishing the dye before.
