The boys were disappointed as they had seen these on sale at the children's museum and were disappointed that they couldn't hear through the piece. I would have kept them if the kids wanted to play pretend with them anyway but feel they are over prices for just a "play toy". ## Features - Powerful microphone transmits to attached ear piece allowing you to hear to secret conversations. - Point the receiver in the direction of the conversation you want to amplify. - Comfortably mounts to your spies ear with the over-the-ear 'Bluetooth' loop design. - Comfortable hands free spying for your next secret spy mission. - Collect all SpyX toys for the ultimate spy play experience. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00K74K4J6 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #447,882 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #151 in Toy Electronic Spy Gear | | Brand Name | SpyX | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.2 out of 5 stars 637 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Develop listening skills, stealth, and problem-solving through imaginative spy role-play. | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 2 x 0.79 x 2 inches | | Item Weight | 54.43 g | | Manufacturer | Mukikim | | Manufacturer Maximum Age (MONTHS) | 180 | | Manufacturer Minimum Age (MONTHS) | 72 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 10125 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 30 day warranty against manufacturer defects | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 10125 | | Number of Batteries | 1 LR44 batteries required. It is for ages 6+ **Q: Can you communicate with it** A: The Micro Super Ear amplifying sound. so you can listen to people conversations up from far-away (depend on how 'noisy' the environment is)... so the item is a 'far away' listening device rather than communication device. One more thing is that you can place it over-the-ear (Bluetooth design) so your hands are free for you spying moves! :-) **Q: Can you hear very far away** A: This is something that I would not buy. It is not worth the money. You can only be 25 feet from whom you are listening to hear them. Not worth the money. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by K***N on July 1, 2025* Looked cool ### ⭐ Not worth the money *by B***M on December 5, 2018* I gave these to my boys last night ages 8 & 10, they don't work as advertised and for a child's ear the piece is to big. I love this super spy ear! I live out in the middle of NOWHERE and I have bad hearing. Maybe it's not for medical reasons, but it sure does stop the constant ringing in my ears. Now I can go outside and hear the birds singing, trees blowing in the wind, airplanes and cars from miles away, etc. ## Frequently Bought Together - SpyX / Micro Sonic Listener - Spy Toy Listening Device with Over-The-Ear Design.
