Never have they tried to teach history in a way text books do. What they have taught is what Gandhi stood for. In a gentle way this book shook my child's understanding of words like non violence, non cooperation and non possession. I wish there were more Indian personalities in this series. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good book for introducing Gandhiji to kids. *by G***E on 25 September 2018* The book is not like a full fledged story book. The content covers Gandhiji's story but each page feels disconnected. The ending is also sudden. The illustration is fun and it talks about all of Gandhiji's good characteristics in a simple way. The language used is US English. Kids around 5 definitely need explanation from an adult for certain words, it ll be easier for older kids. The book comes with a sleeve, which would be helpful for storing the book. The real photos provided at the end is thoughtful. It's good that his life story is covered from childhood. The book could have added a few extra pages and went a bit slow. The message at the end is really powerful and of value to kids. Overall, there is no other book that's quite unique as this book. Young children need to taught about these real life heros. This book makes it interesting and also informative.
