Catan is now born - a beautiful island with mountains, pastures, hills, fields, and forests, surrounded by the sea. Each terrain hex is marked with a die roll number. Each player who owns a settlement adjacent to a terrain hex marked with the number rolled receives a resource produced by this hex. Review: Excellent quality, US import - I was a little skeptical to buy this game because it was extremely expensive so when this game was offered at a 30% discount for 2,799; I immediately bought it. Its MRP used to be 3,999 on desertcart. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the game was not a cheap knock-off but the actual import from USA. The board game pieces are of high quality and are a pleasure to play with. The only little thing that could be done better is that the punch out boards can be made such that it is easier to punch out the hex tiles / number tokens such that the art doesn't rip off. I have a little tip for those of you who may have this problem in the future - try punching out the tiles / tokens from the back such that even if the paper does rip, it will not effect the front where the art is.
