There is no better alternative at this price range, even Blue yeti was not satisfactory for me. However this is. The microphone has a 3.5 mm jack that can be used to attach a headset and hear how the sound feels like. Lookwise good too. Most importantly I have attached a video which shows how easy it is, to operate this microphone. Just plug-in and the drivers will be automatically installed.You can see the response of microphone to sound also. Then the demonstration of voice capture at distance of 7,30,60,100 and 200 cm is given which will help you to analyze the performance and I haven't made any modulation or amplitude change in the voice. Samson C01U Pro comes with a small stand which in my opinion is not that adequate to accommodate the weight of microphone, tilting even slightly can cause microphone to fall, so be caution there. The USB cable is also of decent quality. Please refer to the images for more information. Performance wise you can't really blame it, the microphone include a in-built mechanism for reduction of unwanted noise and it is working perfectly well. I can definitely recommend this product to a friend.
