Thank you.** A: I took the scraps from cutting the heel down to fit the shoe and glued it on the worn part of the heel and then grind it down to be the same level of the old heel and then I put the new heel on **Q: How difficult would it be to cut these to size to fit the chunky heel of women's leather boots?** A: The heels cut very easily. I still used them and they glued on great with ShoeGoo. Not too hard of rubber, and was able to trim a little off the side with a box cutter. Will update (IF I remember) once I've worn it for a while as far as how long they last. Definitely worked well so far and will consider (depending on long term wear) buying again.
