I just returned from the domestic flight and this case worked very well. It was easy to maneuver, the telescopic handle felt rigid enough and it was nice and light. What surprised me the most was the room inside. I thought that it would be a little tight but I had room to spare. My next trip is international and that will be a tougher workout for this but so far it has passed with flying colors. I will add more when I get back. Update Just got back from 2 weeks in Italy. This carry on went through the streets of Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento and passed with flying colors. I had no problem with the airlines and the wheels took the old streets and sidewalks without a problem. I noticed a couple of reviews mentioned zipper problems but I didn't have any. I love that it locks too. This makes it ideal for out of town travel and competition where I might leave my things momentarily unsupervised. Programming the lock was easy. There’s still room in there for another pair or leg warmers or my jacket. The case is heavy duty too, I bumped it on my car door and there was no damage.
