It makes a rich, dense cake with lots of flavor! Did not give the option of using 9x13 pan, so I used 2 8 inch round pans. I should have used one pan, so it would be raised correctly the photo shows two layers stacked. I made a slight adjustment with the milk which could have contributed to it's density. I used organic icing; I crushed and roasted almonds then mixed the almonds with the cream cheese icing, poked holes in the cake then spread the warm icing on the cake.
