I use it as the first step in my nightly double cleanse. It is definitely thick and hydrating, but it emulsifies well and removes my makeup and sunscreen easily. Make sure to start on dry skin, rub it in, then emulsify with water before rinsing off. It leaves the skin feeling very hydrated and not greasy, but I would follow up with a non-oil cleanser unless you have very dry skin. I have noticed an improvement in my pores and sebaceous filaments since incorporating this into my routine. I was initially hesitant to purchase as I have very sensitive skin, made even more sensitive by tretinoin, and this cleanser has a heavy orange/citrus scent. However, my skin has had no issues with the scent at all, even around my eyes.
