Now as put the pieces down on the mesh they can be glued and the plastic keeps one from gluing it to the table or bench. We use say a 2x2 piece of plywood with our design on it and then we use clear plastic so we can see our design through the mesh and plastic. . I suggest only covering about 10% of the item with glue as to let a area for the mortar or adhesive to adhere to the stone and not glue.
