Initial review of Couplux Espresso Machine
This is an early review, first during unpacking it was missing the cleaning brushes (not a big deal I have plenty of them) for those that don’t might be an issue. It’s actually well built I was surprised how nice it was very visually aesthetic machine will look nice on any counter! Original setup takes a little time and patience to get the grind set but the water qty or portion sizes are factory preset at 60ml for double and 30 for single now you can fudge around with that and make it 65ml and 32ml which is 1oz and 2oz but I left it as is and for me that was perfect… the grind was a little harder and depending on the beans you use it may be different then mine but I’m running about 10 on the grind setting at 15 secs for a double giving me 17grams and since I use a 30lb tamp and a spider distributor it gives me a 21-23 sec double espresso almost every time! It took me maybe 1.5 hours to get it all set. Now the steamer on this unit is a pretty robust so you might be surprised…. I have an MH3Bomber Tank that holds about 2 cups of Milk and I like it about 160F - 165F. I will change the head on it to a four hole as it comes with a single and I don’t party like that about it but puts out a lot of steam and it does the job! This will be a fun addition to my coffee table. I give it 5 stars!

So far it is very good
I have had this espresso machine only a couple of weeks. So far I am happy with it. Its group head is a proffessionally sized 58mm and it has a 20 bar pump. Its built in grinder works well and the machine pulled very good shots right away using the suggested starting settings. If this is your first espresso machine you should know there is a learning curve to using them. If you are already experienced in using espresso machines then it will be much easier adjusting the details of the machine. The reason I gave it four out of five stars is I think the steamer could be stronger. The steam volume makes heating the milk take longer than it should. The tamper supplied is nice and heavy and is very good. The only nitpick with it is that the end you hold has a rounded end and I have a habit of placing the tamper upside down in between pulling shots and it topples over banging on my counter top because I forget out of habit from my other machines tamper. Nitpick but having a tamper that stands on either end is a small convenient detail. The milk frothing pitcher is a bit small and could be larger since it only allows a small portion of milk. I have a larger milk pitcher so I do not use the included one. In conclusion, the machine is very nice and a good buy at its price point. It pulls a very nice shot of coffee and is nicely styled so it looks good on the counter top.

Small and sleek
Less complicated that other machines.

Amazing espresso machine!!
Delivers smooth, flavorful espresso- easy to use, heats up fast, and the steam wand works great for lattes. The machine is also super pretty! Highly recommend!!

Convenient all-in-one semi-automatic espresso machine
Good looking and easy to use and clean. Steaming milk nicely. The only complaint I have is the built-in grinder’s inconsistency. When I use 18 g of beans, sometime I can get 18.5 g of grounds. It’s quite annoying when the weight of coffee ground is inconsistent which makes all the dial-in efforts a waste of time. I felt there’s a dead zone in the grinder and randomly hold or drop coffee grounds. There’s a silicone coffee ground blower you can install on the bean hopper, however that doesn’t help much.

Great machine. Directions incomplete
Returned one thinking the pressure gauge didn’t work. I had to bleed the steam line to get the second one to work.

Good morning
Grinder works well and the espresso comes out ok but, temperature is on the low side even after setting to the highest and pressure gauge seems to barely work or there is absolutely no pressure

Beautiful but make sure to check the measurements!
This machine looks gorgeous and is very, very well built with all necessary parts made out of heavy metal. I have used it a lot already, only problem I have is that I have difficulty texturing the milk, but that must come with practice. You also have to spend a bit of time to get the grind right for the perfect cup. I would have given 5 stars however the one big issue I have is that the measurements listed for the height are misleading as they don’t include the bean hopper. I had planned to put this under my wall cabinets however the hopper makes the unit a couple of inches too tall. Other than that, great espresso machine for day to day coffee needs, and looks beautiful!
