Some of the paint had been removed over the years for it flaked and became an eye sore. We put down the stuff, covered it with cling film for at least 6 hours plus then power washed it off. The second photo is after the third application and power wash, the third photo is after the 1st application and power washing. It is good and does remove this water based acrylic paint but some is stubborn and may never come away however I’m glad I purchased this and used it for it definitely removed a lot of years old floor paint on concrete. We will shortly be putting on a fourth application and then washing that off but paint removal from concrete is not easy but this has definitely made a difference. Would recommend for this purpose. Update the first photo is after a fourth application in stubborn areas and power wash. Pleased with result I will not be treating anymore, will just coat with Thompsons concrete sealer. I have pained the outdoor garden slabs with floor paint.** A: I think probably not. There is a company I have used before β€˜strippers’ based in Sudbury. They will likely have a product which will work if you have details of the paint you used. If not, you can send a small sample of the paint & they will supply something which will work. You could also hire a floor scrubbing machine which uses big scotchbrite pads like sandpaper or even diamond coated pads with water.... messy but effective. Ask Jewson hire or HSS. Might be cheaper/ easier to install new slabs **Q: Will this product strip concrete sealant off my drive.** A: Hello, Unfortunately not, this is a masonry paint stripper. **Q: Do you think it will remove paint stains from outdoor slate tiles** A: Hello I have used this product with excellent results , however it only works on masonry paint ( as per the product) . Paint on liberally when good weather , wait approx 2 days until penetrated at which point remove with a scraper . **Q: Will this product remove Sandtex paint from a Rendered wall?** A: This product I used to remove weathershield paint from rendered wall. Please note to add the product to the paintwork you wish to remove then use a wire brush to rub it in. Give it time to soak in then I removed it with a jet wash. Left to work on wall for a day then used a jet wash. ### ⭐ Disappointing *by J***1 on 11 May 2026* Chose this because it was β€˜green’. It was a nightmare - turned the paint into a chewing gum consistency with very little bubbling up to remove easily. Had to use hot water and a stiff scrubbing brush to remove the rest. It took ages.
