V Sabatier Cook's Knife Size: 15 cm

I've favoured Wusthof knives in the past but they don't do one at this size. Sabatier is a great name and seems much cheaper than Wusthof so I worried they were made of Chinese steel. However, this has a Sheffield stamp on the blade so unless there's an oriental twin city I assume it is UK made. The knife is very good in the hand with a decent sized handle unlike others of this size. The test will be in how it holds its edge and sharpens in the longer term but I'm very pleased so far.

This was a replacement for one I had purchased ~30 years ago!Feels as good as the original.Great quality and a joy to use in th kitchen.

Bought to replace one of set. Very nice. Don't like that knives sit blade up on counter. But they are good quality.

Not particularly cheap but an excellent addition to our kitchen, replacing a similar knife that gave us 15 years of service.

These knives are expensive, I was expecting to see made in Sheffield, Bit sad to see these knives were not made in bloody China 😡
