Now not working and it seems I'm unable to return. Only worn it a obout 5 times. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Retro-Modern with a gleaming dial *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 July 2026* Gorgeous watch! This Tiffany blue dial got me curious as I don't have anything similar to this watch dial color in my collection. Depending on the light, the satin dial can gleam like mint green, powder blue, or turquoise, which is great for casual wear. Based on reviews I've seen, many say the crown is hard to operate due to the lack of knurling, but for me and my oily fingers, it's surprisingly (and thankfully) quite easy to change the time/date and to manually wind the watch (it's an automatic, so I don't really have to wind it that often). I like the design of the crown -- the inscribed "T" and triple rings on the crown perimeter add to the retro-modern styling. There's no exterior bezel, as the chunky yet sleek Hesalite acrylic crystal envelopes the entire top surface of the watch, encasing the etched "Marlin" and dual stripes, giving it that "Space Age" (Jetsons) feel -- bought some Polywatch to buff out minor scratches that's sure to happen eventually. The dish/concave dial with notches/cutouts for the indices lend the Marlin a subtle yet unique appearance, while the cross hair dial detail and simple baton hands make for a clean aesthetic. The Miyota movement is reliable, and is fine for the watch's price range. The stock black strap is okay, comfortable, but not for me. However, the Marlin and this particular dial pairs well with several leather straps, and I'm sure it would be a good match with a Milanese bracelet as well. At 38mm (not 40mm), the Marlin Jet sits well on my 16.5cm (6.5") wrist, without any overhang.
