The only other note is that before opening the case go into the BIOS and use the power menu to disable the battery -- that way the unit is better-protected against damage if you drop one of the battery screws in the process of removing them to get to the CMOS cell. 10 minutes to change and if your unit is complaining about the date and time being wrong, or the checksum in the CMOS being invalid when you turn it on this is very likely what needs replacement as its just a 2016 coin cell and they do wear out after a number of years.
