During rendering my CPU runs an average of 115 watts peak 120 watts, far above the rated stock 88 watts. After 24 hours (of the 48 hour curing period) the cpu runs cooler under full load (4.7ghz @ 1.35v, 2.2vccin, 45 cache ratio, 36 gpu ratio) and my CPU rarely hits 80 degrees C. With IC Diamond i occassionally hit 85c. Upon application onto the CPU Die itself, it seemed to have removed the mirror-like coating of the cpu and left a less shiny yellowish tint die. I wish it came in larger capacity though probably 2.5g. CPU- und Kühlerfläche gründlich reinigen. 0,2-0,3g Flüssigmetall auf die CPU geben. Mutig mit Q-Tip verteilen. Ausführlich: Da ich mein Mainboard auswechseln musste, habe ich mich wegen dem Wärmeleitwert, statt herkömmlichen Wäremeleitpasten, für dieses "Flüssigmetall" entschieden. Vor dem Auftragen des Flüssigmetalls habe ich Kühler und CPU mit Feuerzeugbenzin gründlich gereinigt und anschließend mit einem mit Benzin angefeuchteten Mikrofasertuch abgewischt. Anschließend 0,5g FM auf die CPU gegeben (viel zu viel Flüssigmetall) und mit Q-Tip verteilt, was sehr einfach ging. Die 0,5g waren viel zu viel und sind nach dem Aufsetzten des Kühlers an den Seiten hervorgequollen, deswegen musste ich ca. 0,2 - 0,3g des Metalls mit Hilfe der Spritze wieder von der CPU absaugen. Wichtig ist, dass kein Flüssigmetall auf das Mainboard gelangt, da sie elektrisch leitend ist und nicht in Kontakt mit Alu kommt (z.B. Kühlrippen), da sie sonst chemisch damit reagieren. Die Temperatur habe ich mit "Open Hardware Monitor" gemessen. Um die Temperatur unter Last zu messen habe ich das Spiel PUBG (Playerunknown's Battlegrounds) verwendet. CPU: AMD FX-8350 Kühler: Scythe Mugen 4 GPU: HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition Gehäuse: Midi-Tower Raumtemperatur: 23°C Alter Aufbau: Mainboard: MSI 970A-G43 Herkömmliche WLP Core-Temperatures: 45-50°C idle, *65°C Last * Die CPU wurde bei dieser Temperatur heruntergetaktet und es kam zu rucklern und FPS einbrüchen. Neuer Aufbau: Mainboard: GIGABYTE 970-GAMING Phobya Flüssigmetall WLP Core-Temperatures: 15-20°C idle, 50°C Last Zwar kann man sicher davorn ausgehen, dass die Core-Temperatur nicht stimmt, da sie im idle unter Raumtemperatur liegt, aber man kann auf jedenfall eine deutliche Verbesserung feststellen und zudem überhitzt die CPU nicht mehr.
