About half of the tool is a stiff plastic material with several brass and metal fittings mounted to these plastic parts. could the plastic components be metal instead? yes but as long as your not cranking down or tightening fittings and stuff too hard then it works perfect and it DOES NOT CRACK. 2. I needed this tool for my motorcycle as most modern sport bikes require a vacuum bleed procedure instead of a traditional coolant bleed process. worked great and the fittings i needed worked exactly as i needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR MOTORCYCLE APPLICATIONS. 3. the instruction manual was easy to understand as long as you are mechanically enclined and have common sense as to how pneumatic tools work. very easy to understand. overall, while i wish the plastic components were metal. a simple visit to home depot or a hardware shop to replace these plastic parts with metal could work if you desire. tool worked exactly as i needed it and just overall. a good kit for 70 bucks. would not pay more for this exact kit though. sub 100 dollars fine but anything more, absolutely not. This dual-purpose OMT kit for both Pressure Test AND Vacuum Test+Fill offers incredible value, with custom-fit adapters for nearly every radiator and cap type—nearly matching AutoZone's $370 single-purpose rental kit which only performs Pressure Tests. This thing is awesome, rivals my coworker’s strap on pump and stant pumps. The vacuum bleeder is also a clone of the big S and works just as well. No leaks with either, andDon’t waste your time with other brands, just go OMT. As a factory certified tech I can vouch that this has been dead reliable for over two months with daily use. Awesome value for the accessories too giving extreme compatibility! If I’d had one gripe it’s that the case is huge but I’ll get over that for the ease of use and number of adapters.
