As soon as I turned it on it filled the room with a lovely aroma. I love that you can choose between: on for 3 hours, continuously on until it dries or 30 second intervals of on and off. The ligh is great, you can choose whatever color you want. I haven't seen any water spill. The one con that I found is that in the instructions it shows a max line, but in the product there was no max line. Since I have used diffusers before I do have an idea of more or less where it should stop. Just don't fill it up to the top. My suggestion, if yours doesn't have the max line, just go a little bit under where it says 'drain side' and that should be enough.
