Assembling was not a challenge mostly because the instructions were clear and the hardware fit perfectly.

Not the best quality but not horrible either. Shelf comes in three pieces and used dowels to keep it as one study piece. Fake wood is made of laminate and only one color option. But it does the job. The anchors to hold it in the wall are too big for the screws they provide and turn inside the anchor. We had to go get new anchors to secure it on the wall. Made in China
