**Q: How much can I use for 500g milk?**
A: The instructions say
100g powder
1 litre milk
150-200g sugar
50-100g egg
Its just like making custard. You could just halve the amounts.

**Q: What are the English directions if I want to mix the whole 1kg box?**
A: I will not advise you to mix 1 kg grams of powder but if you do ,you will need   12 L of milk  and 2 kg 400 g of sugar and 12 eggs this is like custard powder you don't need that much to make crème pâtissière  I hope this help
