If the surface is uneven you may need to use a little more adhesive to fix them, but once in position they will get to work immediately making the area bird free. **Q: I'm also looking for plastic spikes that can be fixed to the top of chimney top?** A: Hi, we wouldn't recommend using plastic spikes on a chimney due to any heat that may cause issues, however if you wished to use them, consider using a heat resistant silicone to fix them down.
