The daughter is two years old and she likes the illustrations more than the content (which I don't think she really grasps at this point); she is really into trains, but I see this book relating more to boys than girls. I also looked through the book a little, the illustrations are indeed vivid and colorful. Our daughter was expressing interest in what Daddy was doing with his laptop... Enter Baby Loves Coding! This book explains coding & what a programmer is so well! My daughter is 21 months old and she loves the story. She says “Choo Choo!” when she sees the train and counts the “steps” baby takes to find all pieces of the train. I love that it explains that we use code to not only play (kids toys), but that coding helps us eat (microwave). This book is a must for any child who has curiosity surrounding computers, Moms & Dads who code, and how coding assists us in our day to day events.
