I suspect the boxes have been hanging around for a while as this is an old old printer, but they worked as described, good quality print and were very cheap!

I didn't think that these were going to work at first but then I pushed back the plastic prongs a bit and, hey presto, they work.  I am absolutely delighted as they are brilliant value - I shall buy again and again and again as I can't tell the difference between the ink in these or the branded very expensive ones !!!!

    Colours seem to work fine but the black is none existent

Can't understand what is happening with my set of inks. Replaced the black Catridge in my epson r285 and after cleaning the head nothing was printing on the black section of the head check print. I then had to change the yellow after about half an hour's testing to get the black working and the yellow worked fine now after trying again and again I thought it might have been a dodgy cartridge so I changed the black again and still nothing. Will not be purchasing again.
