Review: Excellent at keeping dry inside: survived a flood - Update: We literally had a flood this week. This box was outside the side door of my garage where water was flooding into my garage. This box was sitting in 4" of water for half a day. The inside was completely dry. I am REALLY REALLY impressed!!! We've had a lot of rain lately and I just realized I sat this box right under the edge of my carport where the rain runs off the roof directly on it. Not a drop of water has gotten inside! I'm impressed. It's a little bigger than I thought, but that just means I could fit 2 power strips inside. This thing works great, is easy to use, well made, and a heckuva value. Review: Works as advertised. - Does everything it should at a reasonable price. I've had some coax cable connections inside one for several weeks now, including through a couple decent rainstorms. Everything inside is dry as a bone, and perfectly clean. I wouldn't sit on it, as it won't take a ton of weight; but if you want to do that, buy a chair. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DGPZYXDP | | Brand | iwillink | | Compatible Devices | Holiday Light, Timer Outlet Plug, Small Garden Tools | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 119 Reviews | | Manufacturer | iwillink | | Mfr Part Number | XIRUO-FSHZ-L-B | | Model Number | XIRUO-FSHZ-L-B | | Number of Outlets | 8 | | Number of Ports | 8 | | Plug Format | [A]ssumed: Type A (suitable for US electrical outlets) | | Plug Type | [A]ssumed: Type A (suitable for US electrical outlets) | | Power Plug Type | Type A - 2 pin (North American) | | Total Power Outlets | 8 | | Voltage | 120 Volts (AC) | ## Product Details - **Brand:** iwillink - **Total Power Outlets:** 8 - **Voltage:** 1.2E+2 Volts (AC) - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Outdoor - **Shape:** Rectangle ## Images ![Iwillink Large Outdoor Electrical Box (12.6 x 8.6 x 5.1 inch), IP54 Waterproof Extension Cord Cover Weatherproof with 8 Cable Seal Entry, Protect Power Strip, Holiday Light, Timer Outlet Plug, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818srGx7WuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent at keeping dry inside: survived a flood *by G***6 on June 19, 2025* Update: We literally had a flood this week. I've had some coax cable connections inside one for several weeks now, including through a couple decent rainstorms. Everything inside is dry as a bone, and perfectly clean. I wouldn't sit on it, as it won't take a ton of weight; but if you want to do that, buy a chair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks Well Made and Price Was Right *by S***M on June 30, 2025* We haven't installed this outside yet, but this box looks well made, well thought out and it was priced right for us. It's designed for you to use your own outlet strip and has 8 ports in or out of the box, so cord length is dependent on what you have plugged in to it. It can be mounted on a wall or post or sit on a flat surface, making it really versatile in how it's used. It appears that it would be most resistant to water if it was mounted properly on a wall or post. It does have rubber grommets on the in/out ports that decrease the likelihood of moisture coming into the box. The size is perfect for what we are using it for and won't be too obvious. It looks like it would be very neat and organized when installed. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/665113644-iwillink-large-outdoor-electrical-box-12-6-x-8-6](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/665113644-iwillink-large-outdoor-electrical-box-12-6-x-8-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
